JAMES STANLEY Position(s): Web Manager, Photographer, & Events Coordinator Preferred Type of Cycling: Yes Bike(s): Custom Linq BMX, 1998 GT Avalanche, Bio: I started mountain biking in the mid '90s with my father back in San Diego and I started to work in my first bike shop when I was only 15. I originally started out as a new bike builder but have since worked as a mechanic, general manager, fitting specialist, and webmaster for some of the largest bike shops in Southern California. I got out of the cycling industry when I joined U.S. Navy where I was a Mass Communication Specialist (Photojournalist) for eight years.
JOHN FLETCHER (FLETCH) Position: Shift Manager - MTB Ride Leader Preferred Type of Cycling: Cross Country Mountain Biking Bike(s): Orbea Occam 29er Bio: I started mountain biking some gnarly hills back in the early ‘80s (when James was born) on my ridged framed Schwinn High Sierra. The Sycamore Canyon trail has pretty much stayed the same over the last 20+ years but feels quite a bit smoother and easier with the new suspension technology. In 2006 I had a para-gliding accident that almost cost me my life. After months of physical therapy, I was encouraged by a friend to get back in the saddle. It was tough and painful, but I haven’t stopped since.
MIKE SVED Position: Operations Manager Preferred Type of Cycling: Road Bike(s): Masi CX, Bertonni, SE 29'er, Veloce, Specialized StumpJumper I started seriously riding bikes about 5 years ago in college. Cycling has always been about more than just recreation to me, it is also a mode of transportation. I try to avoid driving as much as possible and rely on my bike to get me places. When you ride, you become more in touch with your surroundings, and experience things differently than when in a car. I love being involved in the local cycling community and have met some of my best friends, and the coolest people through cycling.
JOE MORELLI Position: Product Specialist Preferred Type of Cycling: Road Bike(s): Masi CX, Surly Karate Monkey Single Speed Rigid 29er I started over a year ago when I quit smoking tobacco. I bought my bike second hand just to try it out and I haven't stopped since. I just finished up a 10 bike tour down the coast of California which was very rewarding. I plan on upgrading to a Huffy Stalker 15 speed in the near future as my riding progresses. Just Kidding, but there is a new Orbea, Masi or Jamis in my future.

Mike Haugland Position: Bike Bulider & Mechanic Preferred Type of Cycling: Mountain & Road Bike(s): Bertonni, Cult CC01 BMX, Intense M1, Specialized Enduro I've been cycling since I was three years old and I've never stopped. I've been into all types of cycling from BMX, to mountain bikes, to road riding. I can still remember my first bike, a GT Dyno and I loved it up to the day it was stolen. Shortly after, I got a Robinson BMX, and it's been a crazy ride ever since. I'm hoping to get onto a new mountain bike soon and plan on getting an Orbea Oiz. I just really like the agility of the 26" wheel.
